Being a Clinical Educator: Role and Environment

The purpose of this program is to increase your understanding, skills and expertise in supervising learners in the workplace through applying teaching and learning principles and approaches within the work setting.

Within the program you will have the opportunity to:

• Analyse your own role in clinical education and gain insight into your key responsibilities and tasks
• Increase your understanding of the clinical education environment
• Explore different clinical education models
• Study together with colleagues in an interprofessional online environment

Weighting

The Professional Certificate in Clinical Education comprises of two University of South Australia 4.5 unit courses.

Delivery mode

The Professional Certificate in Clinical Education is a fully online program, taken over 10 weeks of part-time study.
